My hands were numb and trembling while I am driving to my usual GP clinic. Heartbeat and blood pressure is elevated. 137/75 was the reading I took at home beforehand. I am on adrenalin-high. I curse the damn traffic lights for turning green too slowly. 'Don't puke.. please don't puke..or else I got to stop beside the road with the hazard lights on and puke in public.' I wished I had an emergency beacon so that I can speed all the way through the horrendous traffic. The throbbing pain in my head is going nowhere.
The doctor barely took five minutes for diagnosis and prescribed me with a strong medication for migraine. Gave me an advise that freaked me out.
'If the migraine is getting more frequent or worst, better get your head scanned... cause headaches are internal, I can't see it. Might be a tumour..' After that word 'tumour', I don't remember what he said. 'Diulo..gonna die young.. still so many things not done' It never occured to me that I might have to do a head MRI. I thought it only happens in House M.D. Touchwood.
For that amount of time, charging me RM25 seems pretty lucrative. You're the man, Dr.
The fear of this migraine concealing a bigger, more serious illness scares the guts out of me. I will have to monitor the frequency and intensity of the recurring pain closely. Food intake and blood pressure needs to be scrutized. I have to ban the coffee/tea/caffeine and try my best to avoid the glaring sun. An attack like this is enough to incapacitate for a whole day.
I can feel the sound waves create by the person who is sitting opposite and talking on the mobile hitting my body. The echoes create the same sensation that I get when I am standing too close to the powerful speakers during a concert. Everything slows down by a fraction of a second while experiencing narrowed vision and the discomfort of being under bright lights. It feels like I am a vampire who is exposed to sunlight. I wished I could puke due to my squesmish stomach, but all I could churn out is some thick, white fluid which I suspect was some digested medication that I took half an hour ago.
Now you know why I stopped my coffee intake? Don't ask me why I don't drink coffee anymore.

It could be as simple as high bp. Try monitoring ur bp as well. If u're having high bp and it's not controlled by medication then u'll be liddat oso...Your neck got pain/'shuen' or not?
